I moved to the SW of WA to be close to the natural environment in 2015. I have been evacuated due to wildfire 4 times. The last wildfire in Denmark WA was left smouldering for over a month. I had no air conditioning at that time. The AQI was so poor I developed a cough, and my dog had watery eyes along with asthma effects. My nervous system has suffered due to being in flight or fight every couple of years, with my life in danger. Summer used to be enjoyable, now it’s called fire season. They are also proposing to mine all along this area, which will substantially increase a drier climate in an area with flora and fauna found no where else in the world.
Please stop using the earth and it’s resources unsustainably.
