My first grandchild was born two months ago. What a joy! And in the same breath, what a heartache. I am heartbroken for the future this darling girl faces. I love her. And I am terrified.
The world I have been privileged to thrive in is under threat. Clean water, fresh air, nutritious, reliable food… Will these things be there for little Luna? The future generations of all species is threatened by the corporate and political greed for power and money and the madness of burning fossil fuels. At what cost? Mass extinction of species? Irrevocable changes to the fundamental life systems that make this precious earth life sustaining? Drought, devastating storms, floods, fires, hunger and water shortage? Loss of arable land, mass social and political unrest? War?
We know what to do. We have the answers and the technology exists now. We all just need to find our moral courage and stand together.
Science tells us we are part of the life system on earth. Be the earth defending herself… Stand up and shout for the love of future generations of all species! Get up! Stand Up! And shout STOP BURNING FOSSIL FUELS
