I am deeply grateful to the Uncles and to Grata for taking on this case for the good of us all.
Lilyfield, NSW
I live on Gadigal and Wangal Country in Sydney and I regularly visit Yuin Country and Bundjalung country where I have seen devastating effects of fire and flood. Here in Sydney I have seen beaches swept away in storms, trees and gardens dying in drought and heatwaves. In my work with Psychology for a Safe Climate as a workshop facilitator I provide support for climate activist and environmental organisations. I see many, many young people struggling with mental health issues because they fear life ahead and feel betrayed by a Governments not taking climate action in line with what the science shows is needed to safe guard basic health and food security. I also so parents and grandparents experiencing grief and depression because of the poor outlook for their children’s future I also see the devastating impact of anti protest laws on climate activists of all ages. Protecting people’s lives and lands now and for the next generations is a core responsibility of Government. I am deeply grateful to the Uncles and to Grata for taking on this case for the good of us all.

There was a big drought in 2006 and we had to send 700 cattle up to Queensland and only 550 came back. After that dad swore we’d never have that happen again.
